Bemosa Temple
We went to Bemosa Temple today. Took the bus for the first and last time (it took over 1 hr to get there by bus but just 20 min to return by subway -- lesson learned, always take the subway). It was busy I think because of their holiday Chosung (or something sounding like that) where they honour their dead ancestors. The city has been kinda quiet a LOT of people heading to visit their relatives in the country.
The Temple today was interesting because unlike the other one this one seemed to be a functioning temple. We got to see the monks chanting and leading the people in their worship to Buddah. We even got to take photos without people yelling at us like they did at the other temple.
After visiting the first temple area which was buddhist we followed a beautiful rock trail with cascading streams and trees to what Louise guessed was a Taoist temple. I don't know the difference, anyway there was a buddah stature there as well. Who knows. We did lots of walking and as Louise would say I'm knackered.
