Big Surprise

The 40-day juice fast only last 2 days. You all knew I'd never happen anyway. But, was a nice idea!!

7 months in and I'm ready to go. Starting to hate getting up in the mornings, starting to not like the idea of going to work more and more intensly with each passing day.

A new month has begun, which means more new students. Did a song, "silver springs" by Fleetwood Mac for Fridays' class and it went well with the more advanced classes but was way too difficult for the lower-interediate classes. Which I should have known it would be but I'm running out of topic ideas...

Got a couple of really arrogant guys in my class; also got a couple of very cute and sweet ones in another. Have just "Father" in my 10 a.m. class; he is interesting and eager and sometimes I feel guilty cause all I can think about is how much longer I have left. I hate 1 on 1 classes cause I have to pay attention!! lol.

Weather has been cold the last few days. Actually had to put on my scarf and it was too nippy to take my usual walk around the river at 4 in the afternoon like usual so I had to use the treadmill on the 26th floor.

It's the weekend again. Which means I'm teaching 2 hours this morning and then tomorrow I'm going to go to church for the first time in about 4 months!! Figure it's about time for some non-ESL social interaction.

Louise is having an absolute blast in Laos. It looks pretty awesome there. Again, I can't wait to go travelling...just 5 months now....
