New Semester
The new semester has begun. I love my classes, easy schedule. Traded my three bad boys -- "Teacher Angry", kid included -- for a class 1/2 the size and four times better behaved. My other class is the middle school students, who are bored and boring but low maintenance on the plus side.
I bought the Ramada membership so I don't have to sneak into the sauna anymore. Went yesterday before work but the relaxing sauna experience I'd hoped for was completely ruined by all the loud-ass ajama's who'd just finished their water aerobics class.
After work Wednesday night, Chris, Arielle and I went to the Stadium Courts for some tennis. It was good to play on the hard courts; I missed night tennis with spot lights. And the courts were packed so we only got to play for an hour after which, Arielle and I went to Bis Soju Hof for Dak Dori Tang and pitchers of draft beer. I drank a little too much and had trouble sleeping, plus I let it slip I knew her and Doug were now an item (as I'd heard them doing it last week after I'd come home from the Blues Bar), by crassly making orgasm noises. She was blushing, and tried lamely to deny it. I rolled my eyes and dropped the subject.
When I was at the Blues Bar this weekend, the owner Mr. Kim bought me a beer and said:
"The first time I saw you I thought you looked like a movie star."
Say it again. "Nooo, " I mock protest "I think you are already drunk."
He and his friend laugh but say how georgeous I am again and again. Always good times. Then he has to get up to play bass because the set is starting.
Joseph comes over and invites me to sit with him and his friends at their table. I can tell he's drunk but he was pleasant enough the last time I met him so I do.
Joseph and C.J. are two Phillipino guys I met at the Blues bar two weeks ago when I was there with Bill. They are friendly and personable, they really like to laugh and seem sincere and easy going. Phillip is in his mid-twenties but rather cute and C.J. is a little older than me. They introduce me to the people they're sitting with -- who are entertainers at a hotel and they've only just met -- and I sit between them.
C.J. starts: "The first time I saw yo-" but is cutt off by Joseph who tells me how he messaged me that week and how happy he was I messaged him back. He goes on to say he loves me--which is hilarious considering it's the second night we've met -- but again, good times.
I finish my beer and say I'm leaving. They protest and try to pursuade but it doesn't work. "I'll see you next time," I say. Joseph follows me out the door and asks for a kiss, "no, maybe next time love."
Oh, what a heart- breaker I was that night. It's hard being so h.o.t. ! (Of course I'm kidding).
This weekend might be quite the party: Chantal's birthday party tonight after I play tennis, beach party tomorrow, followed by another party and probable collapse Sunday. Wish me luck!:)
