Johnny ( the other teacher who lives in my building and who visits every once in a while for a smoke or coffee) is in love with one of his students. At first, it seemed hopeless as she had a boyfriend of 5 years but now it looks like she might actually be breaking up with the boyfriend and Johnny might be winning her hand; they've been spending a lot of time together and their phone messages are getting down right risque. He's head over heals for her and so is thrilled. Louise and I have been dispensing love advice to him lately which is always fun. Johnny wants to set me up with this Korean guy in his class so I'm supposed to go out on a double date with them this weekend, we'll see...

Talked about Ghosts in my classes Yesterday and almost all my students have had what they call "pressure scissor" experiences where they wake up from a dead sleep paralized; some 'ghost' pressing down on them and they can't do anything. One of my students woke to find a girl ghost sitting on her bed, crying. Freaked out she told it to leave but it returned a few times and she had to sleep in the living room.

Kevin (a student in my 7 a.m. class) gave me two tickets for dinner theater at the best hotel (he works at) in the city here. Louise and me are going to make reservations and head there sometime in the next week.

Louise is thrilled cause she got her charger for her Ipod so now she can listen to her beloved Doors (though I personally think she will start missing Jewel anytime now...poor bastard;).
