Camping
We had a three day weekend, which I'm about to make four by calling in sick.
Met a hot guy who was hot for me but 22!! Met another hot guy who I was hot for but turns out wasn't hot for me.
A male friend and I are flirting (I think), but it probably won't go beyond that.
It all started Thursday night after work. Went to Agave for our regular chess night and met the new guy Paul for the second week in a row. Also his friend Drew, whom I'd met casually before.
After, a drink at G&P and Led Zeppelin.
Somehow it was 3 a.m. and my former crush was asking to steal me away, alas, 'twas not to be. In part, because there was this whole drama a while back between my friend regarding him, and she told him, and then it was weird, and now we're over it and it's just good that it's not weird anymore. Don't wanna screw it up. Plus, a little more romance is demanded at 32 than, "hey, let's go somewhere", at 3 a.m. Even I'm growing standards.
Of course, I did tennis on Friday with Chris and Arielle, some 2+ hours in the afternoon sun helping to reinforce my -- may I say -- KICKASS tan. Then, grand plans of swimming followed by BEACH VOLLEYBALL were thwarted when I passed out on my bed for 3 hours.
COMPLETELY, forgot to mention last weeks beach volleyball didn't I? WOW. It was un-believable. Held at Iho beach, a bunch of us meet up there at 5 p.m. and play 'till sundown with the waves lapping quietly a few feet away. And everybody was good. We had a real, bump, set, spike game going. All my highschool volleyball coming back to me. Was truly an awesome night. So, was bummed I fell asleep this weekend and missed it. Missed yesterdays game too because we were just come back from....CAMPING!!!!
Yes, that's right, I said it -- Camping! "Where?", you ask.
"THE BEACH!" I answer. :)
Hyupjae beach to be exact, near Hallim Park. Woody, Laurie, Alicia, Kyle, Tracy, Amberlee and me.
We all bought 3 men, $30 tents from Lotte Mart. Fantastic deal. I got a sleeping bag too. We camped back in the "woods", behind the beach. Built a campfire, cooked food over it, set up our tents (first time for me doing that), ate and drank and told ghost stories. The girls screamed at a deer going by! I told the story about Mom seeing the red hyroglyphics on the tv after Bear was growling woke her up and just then -- coincidence? -- Zeus started growling and they freaked out. Was very funny.
Unfortunately, it rained in the late morning so we didn't stay long. I slept like crap in the tent, need to buy a matt. Plus, one of the couples decided to get randy and who can sleep through that? Bloody hell, rub it in a little more wouldja guys?
Lunch at Bagdad, nap and then Sex and the City The Movie! Good times for sure.
And now, the weather looks amazing today. Sorry, no pics, I keep forgetting my camera...next time.
Love,
xoxox
